Capital Ex, or as I knew it, K-Days

I'm so happy I got a chance to head out to northlands this summer before they packed up K-days.

The first thing on the agenda was the 'Shangri-la Chinese Acrobats' and we had a heck of a time finding centre stage.

I was expecting this grand stage with benches lined up around the stage or even an inside stage in the auditorium....but it was a tiny little stage with a few benches right smack in the middle of the carnival with people walking around it..of course we would miss it!

That kind of got me wondering though....if these guys were actually worth it to even wait to watch, or should we just head off and start looking at some of the other attractions around the place?

When they started...I was blown away. There were so many things that they've done, I thought weren't even humanly possible....I wished that their entire crew (cause I know this was only a small portion of them) were here for a real show in the auditorium...because I would definitely want to watch them again.

There are 2 games at this carnival that Mr.Awesome
would play and that's either the 'Birthday Game' or 'Under Over'...they're both games that have to do with gambling of course...

I'm not good at any of those games...but I was content with going home with these guys to the left.

The pokemon was for my friend....the fluffy monkey is for me. Usually at these kinds of things, there's never anything I want because they're all the same. Small in size, very cute but really hard to win or Large in size, very ugly and yet...very hard to win.

Then I spotted the monkey that a girl was carrying around that I didn't see anyone else have! AND IT WAS SO CUTE!! .... So....I had to have him.

And after that we practically just headed home
